Apostolos Leventopoulos has a classical guitar degree and a bachelor in jazz guitar from Berklee College of music. He has played with many internationally known musicians (Gilad Atzmon, Sean Corby, Alex Foster, Marek Patrman, Logan Richardson, Rex Richardson, Peter Slavov, Dayna Stephens, Erik Vermeulen, Jason Yarde), has performed at festivals and clubs in Greece and abroad (US, Brazil, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Portugal, Singapore), has an extensive discography as a session musician, and three albums as a leader.
He has composed, arranged and performed music for theatre, dance theatre and performances for the Greek National Theatre, The National Theatre of Northern Greece, and many theatre and dance theatre companies (Oktana, Dameblanche, Fingersix, Theatre Company Polis, Creo Dance Company, etc..).
He teaches Jazz Guitar, Theory and History at the Musical Studies Department of Ioannina University, and also teaches privately.

Wow that’s some of best fret-hand technique I’ve ever seen.
Thanks! That 335 has the unpopular 70s low wide frets that are difficult for blues etc, but great for low action fast chord or line jazz playing.
@@leventopoulos Yes and the rosewood tone is like red wine compared to white. The silent sliding into notes is a such a cool sign of flow state, and very difficult to reach for me. Great channel!

Thanks! I love both amps. When it's a jazz gig it's mostly Princeton, Pro Junior if we do some blues too! Basically blackface vs tweed..!

Gigging's not an issue, its home use ! Fender would sell an absolute Truckload of these if they put a power attenuator in them. In my years of messing with amps this still stands out as one of the best. Way better than than Blues Jnr.
Bingo...most of us cannot crank it to the volumes at home, that you can in a club to get this tone, this overdrive, of the tubes. Are you listening Fender?????????!!!!!!!

Just bought a cheap guitar to learn, I used to play, but I wanted to play jazz on it, and I wanted to change out the pickups, which pickups would you recommend for a super strat with two humbuckers?
Two humbuckers are fine. You can try low output pickups for good dynamics. I like Gibson classic 57

I thought there would be at least some explanation, but after hearing it- sounds like examples from Martino’s Linear Expression book. I bought this back in the early 80s
Working on a setup to do talking videos in the future. I did some Pat Martino lines videos a while back, he is a great example of arpeggio substitution and superimposition, but it's a very common practice in most bebop line players.
